More Information:Originally from Ohio, Robert (or Bob as his friends call him) and his wife Donna, jumped at the chance to move to Beaufort in late 1999. No strangers, for sure, they have been regular visitors to the Lowcountry for over 30 years and knew that one day this would be their home. Since then they have made countless friends and contacts through much of Beaufort County. Bob spent most of his career in corporate business and industry and for the past 15 years was operating in a senior management capacity. A degreed engineer with substantial knowledge of finance, Bob was asked 10 years ago to go into the field of Human Resources because of his people skills. He excelled in this field and moved up the ladder through numerous positions. The reason for his success? He believes in being “hard on the business” and “soft with the people.” “I and my wife moved to Beaufort because of the lifestyle, the people, its beauty, and the amenities.
